WHAT IS THE STRIP DIFFERENCE?

We want to completely disrupt the beauty industry with our hyper-focus on makeup removers and facial cleansers with a skincare-first mindset. We see the beauty standards and we raise them. Our formulas follow Clean at Sephora guidelines PLUS are formulated without any of the 1,400 banned EU ingredients, known toxins, irritants or questionable additives.

Sure, you can have clean skin, but because we design our makeup removers to perform like skincare without using harsh or harmful ingredients, you see hydrated, balanced, replenished (aka better-than-naked) skin.

IS STRIP RIGHT FOR MY SKIN TYPE?

Yep. Our cleaner-than-clean formulas are designed for all skin types. They’re hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, soap free and safe for sensitive skin.

WHAT DOES SKINCARE GRADE MEAN?

Every formula we make is designed to achieve very specific skincare benefits by using pure, potent active ingredients at levels known to work so they do what they say they’ll do. And we test them to make sure of it. We also innovate delivery systems and technologies that elevate their performance so you see results from the first time you Strip.

IS MY OLD MAKEUP REMOVER REALLY THAT BAD?

Yes. Most makeup removers either do nothing for your skin or they leave it dry, stripped and irritated so your skincare has to work even harder just to undo the damage. Instead of creating a fresh face for skincare, they set your skin back before you even start your routine.

DOES STRIP MAKEUP TEST ON ANIMALS?

Never. STRIP Makeup is a cruelty-free brand. We never test products or ingredients on animals, nor do we allow suppliers to conduct testing on our behalf.

IS STRIP MAKEUP VEGAN?

All of the products we make at STRIP Makeup are free of animal byproducts, however we are currently undergoing certification to be recognized as a fully vegan line. For information on specific products, please refer to the Ingredients tab on the product pages.

ARE STRIP MAKEUP PRODUCTS GLUTEN FREE?

STRIP Makeup products are formulated without gluten-derived ingredients and there are no detectable levels of gluten introduced in the manufacturing process. However, we are still undergoing full gluten free certification.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS ORGANIC?

Many of our ingredients are organic. However, some ingredients are organic derived or are synthetic. Rather than sacrificing on quality just to include the buzzword “organic”, we prioritize using the best and cleanest ingredients while strictly adhering to multiple domestic and international clean guidelines. IS STRIP MAKEUP A CLEAN BEAUTY BRAND?

Yes! At STRIP we’ve worked hard to create products with only the best ingredients that deliver the best results. We don’t believe you have to sacrifice at all on quality to stay clean. Since we know that word “clean” can mean many things from brand to brand, here is our CLEAN COMMITMENT

DO STRIP MAKEUP PRODUCTS CONTAIN PARABENS?

STRIP Makeup is fully paraben-free (and phthalate-free, too)!

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PAO AND EXPIRATION DATE?

PAO stands for “period after opening,” and is represented by an icon with a number that indicates how many months the product will be fresh after opening. If a product has a PAO of 24, that means it should be used within 24 months of opening. Products marked with an expiration date indicate when the product should stop being used, regardless of whether it has been opened.

ARE STRIP MAKEUP PRODUCTS SAFE TO USE WHILE PREGNANT OR NURSING?

Your health and safety are extremely important to us. While we never compromise on high-quality ingredients, we always recommend consulting your physician about the use of our products during pregnancy or while nursing. Please see the ‘Ingredients’ tab on each product’s description page and ask your physician before use.

WHERE ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MADE?

We are a variety of domestic and international partners when it comes to creating our products. Currently, all topical products are made in the USA.

ARE STRIP MAKEUP PRODUCTS MADE SUSTAINABLY?

Yes, we always go out of our way to use sustainable ingredients and processes in all of our products.

IS STRIP MAKEUP PACKAGING SUSTAINABLE/ECO-FRIENDLY

Yes! All Strip Makeup products are as eco-friendly as possible. All packaging is recyclable, our wipes are biodegradable and reusable. We also have a sustainability program in the works for recycling and reusing your items, with refillable units for certain products.

SHIPPING/ORDER STATUS

WHERE CAN I GET STRIP MAKEUP + STRIP SKIN IN THE UNITED STATES?

We are currently available through StripMakeup.com, Amazon and select international partners. Please sign up for updates on new retail partnerships and launches.

CAN WE GET STRIP MAKEUP INTERNATIONALLY?

Of course! STRIP does ship internationally and is available through select international partners.

WHEN CAN I GET PRODUCTS THAT ARE OUT OF STOCK?

We do our best to keep all products in stock. However, when we are temporarily out of a certain product, you can sign up for restock notifications and be the first to know when that product is back in stock. Click on the “Notify Me” button on the product page and provide your email.

HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR FREE SHIPPING?

Orders over $50 are eligible for free standard shipping. Applies only to orders within the United States.

HOW CAN I FIND THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

We will send an order confirmation at time of purchase as well as tracking information once your order is shipped. You can also check the status of your order by logging into your account.

HOW DO I CANCEL MY ORDER?

Orders cannot be canceled or modified once placed, however, we do offer returns within 30 days of purchase.

WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED TO REGISTER FOR AN ACCOUNT?

To register for a STRIP Makeup account, you just need to provide your name, email address, and password. All other information can be provided later.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY LOGIN E-MAIL ADDRESS OR PASSWORD?

You can change your login email address and password by clicking on "My Information" within your account. Please note that your email subscriptions will be sent to your new email address and any emails related to the order will go to the email address provided at checkout.

I FORGOT MY PASSWORD, HOW DO I LOG IN?

We’ve all been there. Please note that passwords are case-sensitive. If you have forgotten your password, please click on "Forgot Your Password?" below Log In, and follow the instructions to reset it.

PAYMENTS

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES STRIP MAKEUP ACCEPT?

We currently accept all major credit cards (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa), PayPal, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, Afterpay (U.S. only), and multiple localized payment methods for international orders, based on your region. Auto-Replenish subscription orders do not accept Afterpay.

What is Installments with Afterpay?

Installments with Afterpay is a service that allows you to make purchases now and pay for them in four payments made every 2 weeks without any interest. 

How do I use Installments with Afterpay?

Simply shop online and add items to your shopping bag and checkout as normal. At the checkout choose Installments with Afterpay as your payment method. First-time customers will need to register with Afterpay and provide payment details, as usual, returning customers simply log in to make their purchase. It’s that easy!

Please note that all items in your shopping bag must be eligible for Installments with Afterpay. A minimum purchase amount may apply and you must meet additional eligibility requirements to qualify. 

Where can I use Installments with Afterpay?

Installments with Afterpay can only be applied to purchases made on stripmakeup.com website. 

Can I use Installments with Afterpay if I’m an international customer?

Afterpay is only offered to our customers who have a US billing address, US shipping address, a US Visa or Mastercard (credit or debit card), or American Express and a US mobile phone number. Customers with international billing addresses, shipping addresses, and/or phone numbers will not be able to set up an account with Afterpay. 

How does the payment schedule work?

All customers are required to make their first payment at the time of purchase, with the remaining three payments deducted every two weeks from your chosen payment method. If you choose to make additional payments before your scheduled pay dates, you may do so through your Afterpay account.

You can log in to your Afterpay account to view your payment schedule and make a payment before the due date if you choose to do so.

Is there a limit to how much I can spend on a single transaction?

Yes, transaction value limits apply to purchases made on StripMakeup.com using Installments by Afterpay. 

What products are not eligible for purchase using Installments with Afterpay?

Afterpay is not available on purchases of gift cards. If you are purchasing gift cards along with Afterpay eligible products, you will need to place two separate orders. 

How do I return or exchange an item purchased using Installments with Afterpay?

If you have changed your mind, you can return your Afterpay purchase in-store or by mail for a refund. Please check that your return or exchange meets our Return policy here.

Afterpay will be notified of your return and will process the appropriate refunds. Please do not return your purchase to Afterpay.

What if I can’t pay an Afterpay installment?

If funds are not available or you otherwise do not make your payment when it is due, late fees may apply.  Click here for complete terms.

What happens if I have a partial refund, and how does that affect my payments?

Afterpay will be notified once your refund is processed. Your payment plan will be automatically adjusted to reflect the new total order value starting with the last payment and working backward. In the case where a refund amount is larger than 25% of the total order, Afterpay will eliminate the fourth installment payment and apply the remaining amount to your earlier payments.

I'M HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION FOR MY ONLINE ORDER.

If you receive an error message related to credit card authorization failure, double check that the billing address on the credit card matches your account billing address, try re-entering your CVN or security code, and be sure that the card is current (not expired) and valid.

WHERE IS SALES TAX CHARGED?

For domestic, only orders billed to a Florida address will be charged sales tax. For international order, all applicable duties and fees will be displayed at the time of purchase.

WHAT IS THE SUBSCRIPTION PROGRAM?

HOW DO I SUBSCRIBE?

When adding an item to your cart, select the “Subscribe” option, choose your delivery frequency and click “add to cart”.

WILL I GET A REMINDER EMAIL BEFORE MY NEXT AUTO-DELIVERY SHIPMENT?

Yes. You’ll get a reminder when your subscription is set to ship.

CAN I CHANGE THE FREQUENCY OF MY SUBSCRIPTION?

You can change the delivery frequency at any time by logging into your account. You can also change the product you are subscribed to, or add additional products. We ask that you make any changes to your subscription 5-7 days before your next delivery is set.

CAN I CHANGE MY SHIPPING ADDRESS?

You can change your shipping address for any future deliveries. Simply log into your account and follow the instructions to manage your subscription. Please note that we are unable to modify the address of a shipment that has already been sent out.

HOW DO I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION?

You can cancel or pause your subscription at any time by logging into your account and following the instructions.

CAN I APPLY PROMOTIONAL CODES TO MY SUBSCRIPTION ORDER?

Subscription items are eligible for promotional codes and discounts. We do limit each item in your cart to a single discount. At checkout, just enter your discount code, and our software will automatically apply whichever discount is higher. If the discount on a subscription item at the time of purchase is greater than the 10% savings offered, that price will only apply to the initial purchase, and that product will be charged at the 10% off rate for future shipments.
